BAR 101 أسس تصميم                                                                                                  الساعات المعتمدة: 3(1ن+0 ت+4ع*)

مادة أسس تصميم مادة نظرية وعملية – تركز على الأساس النظري والطرق العلمية للقيم والقواعد الجمالية والتشكيلية التي يحتاج إليها طالب العمارة وذلك من خلال المحاضرات النظرية والمناقشة والحوار والتعلم التفاعلي وللمقرر متطلبات مصاحبة هي الرسم والتعبير المعماري والهندسة الوصفية والرسم الحر .

BAR 102 رسم وتعبير معماري                                                                                          الساعات المعتمدة: 3(1ن+0 ت +4ع)

يمثل هذا المقرر المدخل الأساسي لدروس التصميم لاحقاً حيث يهدف هذا المقرر إلى تعريف الطالب بأساليب التعبير المعماري وكذا الخصائص والسمات العامة لكل من لنقطة والخط والشكل والسطح وكذا التعرف على الأدوات المستخدمة في الرسم وأساليب الأطهار والإخراج المعماري بحيث يكون قادرا على التعبير عن أفكاره بطريقة معمارية صحيحة ,وذلك من خلال المحاضرات النظرية وأساليب البحث الجماعي التعاوني ,ولا يوجد للمقرر متطلبات سابقة حيث أنها تعتبر هي المدخل الأساسي لمفردات أساسية لاحقة.

يعد المقرر من المواد الأساسية في التخصص، وهو مقرر نظري عملي يمكن عين الطالب على أدراك التفاصيل الدقيقة من الواقع المادي الملموس وأدراك نسب وحركة الظل والضوء والألوان ، وتنمية قدرة الطالب في أصول اختيار التشكيل والألوان والإحساس بها كما يتعرف الطالب على أهم التقنيات المستخدمة في أساسيات الرسم الحر مثل أقلام الرصاص وأقلام التحبير، والأقلام الخشبية الملونة، والألوان المائية، والالبوستر، والزيتية، إلى جانب تقوية القدرة التعبيرية باستخدام الوسائل المختلفة في مثل الصلصال والجبس لتجسيد نماذج مجسمة أو مسطحة في مثل لوحات جدارية تشكيلية أو زخرفيه، ولا يوجد للمقرر متطلبات سابقة.

BAR 106 هندسة وصفية                                                                                                الساعات المعتمدة: 2(1ن+0 ت + 3ع)

يعد المقرر من المواد الأساسية في التخصص، وهو مقرر نظري عملي يسهم في تنمية قدرات الخيال عند الطالب ومن خلاله يتعرف الطالب على طرق الإسقاط المختلفة للنقطة والخط المستقيم، وكيفية إيجاد الطول الحقيقي للخط المستقيم وميله على مستوى الإسقاط، بالإضافة إلى أن يكون قادرا على تمثيل المستويات المساعدة وحالاتها بالنسبة للمستويين الرئيسيين للإسقاط، والمجسمات كسطوح وتحليلها، و تقاطع المجسمات والسطوح، ويتم ذلك من خلال المحاضرات النظرية والعروض التوضيحية والتمارين التطبيقية والتعلم التعاوني والمناقشة والحوار، ولا يوجد للمقرر متطلبات سابقة.

BUST 05 الثقافة الإسلامية                                                                                              الساعات المعتمدة: 4(4ن+0 ت + 0ع)

يعد مقرر الثقافة الإسلامية من أهم المقررات الدراسية وذلك للدور الذي يساهم فيه هذا المقرر في تكوين الشخصية المسلمة القادرة على قراءة ماضيها وفهم واقعها والإسهام الإيجابي في بناء المستقبل بناءً يوافق شرع الله ويلبي احتياجات العصر من غير إفراط ولا تفريط (بوسطية). ويتم أخذ هذا المقرر بطريقة الحوار والمناقشة, كما يكلف فيه الطلبة بالبحوث التي تخدم أهداف المقرر. ويتم تقييم الطلبة عن طريق المشاركة الصفية واللاصفية والأعمال التي يكلف بها الطلبة والاختبارات النصفية والنهائية.

The current course provides students with the language basics of everyday English to help them communicate in different real life situations. The course focuses more on real life conversations and the basic grammars that will help each one in his/her major.Moreover the course provides students with plenty of writing and speaking practices. The updates of the book allow students to be posted with the latest language uses and functions that are easy and useable in real life situations.

يهدف مهارات الاتصال إلى إلمام الطالب بالنظريات والمفاهيم الأساسية في مجال الاتصال الإنساني، وتنمية المهارات الأساسية في مجال التواصل الجيد مع الذات ومع الآخرين، وتعزيز ممارستها في حياته اليومية والعملية باستخدام أساليب جدية تعتمد على التدريب والتقويم المتنوع والفعال، بما يسهم في إنجاح حياته الخاصة والعملية على حد سواء.

          التفكير الناقد مادة هدفها الأساسي بناء وتنمية مهارة الطلاب الذهنية في مجال التعامل مع الآراء والأفكار المقروءة أو المسموعة أو المرئية لإبداء الرأي المؤيد أو المعارض استنادا إلى المهارات الذهنية المنظمة ، والمهارات المعرفية والخبرات والتجارب. ويتضمن العديد من الموضوعات الرئيسة كمفهوم التفكير الناقد وفائدته العملية والتعليمية، ومعاييره ، ومعوقــــــــــاته

ومقوماته الأساسية والمساعدة ، وكيفية بناء حجج مقنعة بالاستناد إلى الاستدلال الناقد ،مع بيان صور المغالطــــــــات والخدع البلاغيـــــــة ثم توجت المادة بخاتمة تضمنت تطبيق مهارات التفكير على بعض الظواهر والمجالات الحيوية في الحياة ، والطريقة المثلى لتدريسها تكاد تنحصر في الجانب النظري من خلال المحاضرات والمداخلات والمناقشات المستفيضة ، مع تعزيز ذلك بقدر كبير من الأساليب التدريبية ، كلعب بعض الأدوار، وعرض مقاطع فيديو بالصوت والصورة، وإجراء بعض المناظرات، وخصص لتدريسها والتدريب على بعض مفاهيمها 14 ساعة في الفصل الدراسي الواحد ، وتدرس بنظام الساعة ( زمن المحاضرة ساعة واحدة ).

يعد المقرر من المواد الأساسية في البرنامج ومدخل للتصميم المعماري ويدرس المقرر طرق جمع المعلومات الأساسية للدراسات الأولية للمشروع والعوامل الخارجية والداخلية المؤثرة على التصميم والتطبيق على مشروع معماري صغير(مسكن ريفي صغير، شاليه، فيلا)،لا يتجاوز ارتفاعه عن دورين، يربط بين الوظيفة والتكوين المعماري، والعلاقة بين الداخل والخارج. مع التركيز على منهجية التصميم في المراحل المختلفة لتصميم المشروع. ويتم ذلك من خلال المحاضرات النظرية والمناقشة الشفهية والحوار والعروض والزيارات الميدانية والتعليم الذاتي والتعليم التعاوني. ويعتمد المقرر على مواد مساعده سابقة أسس التصميم والرسم والتعبير المعماري.

BAR 213 ظل ومنظور                                                                                                     الساعات المعتمدة: 2(1ن+0 ت+ 3ع)

يعد المقرر من المواد الأساسية في التخصص، وهو مقرر نظري عملي يلبي الحاجة للتعبير عن الأفكار التصميمية وإظهارها بصورة أكثر وضوحاً مما هي عليه في الرسومات ثنائية البعد 2D ، حيث يتم فيه تحويل الرسومات المعمارية ثنائية البعد 2D إلى رسومات ثلاثية البعد 3D كما يهتم بإبراز الظل والضوء في هذا النوع من الرسومات والأفكار المعمارية.، ويتم ذلك من خلال المحاضرات النظرية والعروض التوضيحية والتعلم التعاوني والمناقشة والحوار، وللمقرر متطلبات سابقة وهي رسم حر، هندسة وصفية، رسم وتعبير معماري.

BUST 03 اللغة العربية                                                                                                    الساعات المعتمدة: 4(2ن+0 ت+ 4ع)

يهتم المقرر بتنمية المهارات اللغوية الأساسية للطالب كونه من متطلبات الجامعة، ويتناول جملة من النشاطات الاتصالية والدروس اللغوية والإملائية والتركيبية ويحتوي على معارف ونصوص وتدريبات لغوية، ويتألف من كتابين: الأول يركز على مهارتي الاستماع والتحدث، والثاني يركز على مهارتي القراءة و الكتابة، مع احتواء كل من الكتابين على أساسيات التركيب النحوي وبعض القواعد الإملائية، ويعتمد المقرر أسلوب التدريبات والتطبيقات العملية لكل طالب، بالإضافة إلى النصوص التطبيقية في CD المرفق بالكتاب مع الامتحان النصفي والنهائي.

Course discusses the principle of limited and show the theories of limited and continue, how to procedure differentiation and its special rules with the study of implicit functions ifferential , defined the integration and the link between the processes of differentiation and integration, integration rules, methods of integration and its practical applications.

BENG 02 Engineering Drawing                                                                                          (3L+0T+0P) 3 credits

The general aim of this course is to provide students with theoretical and practical background in Engineering Drawing. This Course focuses on principles, terminologies, tools of Engineering Drawing to enhance the positive ability of students in being more precise in Drawing and measurements. Teaching strategies this course are lectures and activation the hand skill of student through practical assignment in class as well as home works. Assessment tasks are home work assignment and exams. This course does not have any pre-request.

BUST 09 Computer Skills                                                                                                     (0L+0T+6P) 3 credits

This course provides a student by basic skills for using computer at studying environment, library, and at home. It presents the knowledge of basic computer and information technology concepts. The course provides the knowledge needed to operate and utilize the operating system and office software package, and to use the computer for Internet access and electronic communication.

BUST 01 مهارات تلاوة القرآن الكريم وتجويده                                                                    الساعات المعتمدة: 1(0 ن+0 ت+ 2ع)

   يعد هذا المقرر من المقررات المهمة؛ كونه متعلق بكلام الله تعالى ثم إنه من متطلبات الجامعة، وهو مقرر نظري وتطبيقي يقوم الطالب فيه بتلاوة وحفظ نصف جزء عم من سورة (الطارق- الناس )، ودراسة الآداب التي ينبغي أن يتحلى بها قارئ القرآن، وفهم وتطبيق هذه الأحكام عند قراءة القرآن الكريم، وتستخدم طريقتي الحوار والمناقشة في التدريس، ويتم تقييم الطالب من خلال تلاوته للقرآن أثناء اللقاءات التعليمية، والقيام بالتكليفات المصاحبة – الصفية واللا صفية – مع الامتحانين النصفي والنهائي.

BAR 204 تصميم معماري (2)                                                                                    الساعات المعتمدة: 4(1ن+0 ت+ 7ع)

يعد المقرر من المواد الأساسية في البرنامج، ويشمل على تصميم مشروع معماري متوسط الحجم وعلى اكثر من طابق ويفضل الأبنية ذات الفضاءات المتكررة كالمدارس والمعاهد أو مكتبة حي سكني. مع الاهتمام بالنواحي البصرية والوظيفية في التصميم ومراعاة الجوانب الإنشائية ، والبيئية، وعلاقتها بالفضاءات الداخلية والخارجية للمشروع. ويتم ذلك من خلال المحاضرات النظرية والمناقشة الشفهية والحوار والعروض والزيارات الميدانية والتعليم الذاتي والتعليم التعاوني. ويعتمد المقرر على مواد مساعده سابقة مقرر تصميم معماري(1).

BAR 207 إنشاء مباني (1)                                                                    الساعات المعتمدة: 3(2ن+0ت+ 2ع)

مادة تعنى بالمواد والعناصر والنظم الإنشائية المكونة للمبنى وتشيدها من خلال دراسة تحليلية وتفصيلية للمواد وتلك العناصر المكونة للمبنى وهي الخرسانة المصبوبة والأسس الخرسانية المصبوبة وأنواعها والعقود والأسطح وأنواعها و الأرضيات والتلبيس للجدران بأنواعها وكذلك أنواع السلالم والمنشآت ونظم وطرق الإنشاء وأنواعها من حوائط حاملة وبناء هيكلي وغيرة وأنواع الأسقف والأرضيات وكذلك خطوات عملية البناء في موقع العمل والعوامل التي تؤثر على اختيار مواد وطرق البناء والخواص الفعالة لمواد البناء.

BAR 214 مساحة                                                                                   الساعات المعتمدة: 2(1ن+0 ت+ 3ع)

يعتبر المقرر من المواد المساعدة للطالب وفيه يتعرف الطالب على المساحة وأهميتها والقياسات والوحدات وخصائص الرسم إلى جانب تدريس الطالب على استخدام الأجهزة المساحية لعمل الرفع وأخذ القياسات وتسوية الأراضي وذلك من خلال المحاضرات النظرية والتعليم التعاوني والحوار والمناقشة الشفهية والتطبيق العلمي للمقرر متطلب سابق هو الرياضيات التخصصية.

The importance of this course is to provide students with physical background of the variable ways to solve real problems. This Course includes physical quantities, vectors, Newton’s Laws of Motion, physical prosperities of materials, Waves and sounds, Electricity, Magnetism, Light and Optics. The course carried out using the lectures and self-learning and discussion, Miniature education, Solve problems, experiments used to teach this course, We will use strategies assessment Quizzes, Written Examinations, oral examinations, notes, and micro-reports and there are no pre-requests.

BENG 06 Statistics &Probability                                                                       3 credits  (2L+0T+2P)

The Course discusses: displaying the data, measures of central tendency, measures of dispersion, correlation, simple regression, types of random variables and some probability distributions.

BAR 211 تاريخ عمارة (1)                                                                       الساعات المعتمدة: 2)2ن+ 0 ت+0ع)

مقرر نظري يقدم للطالب المعارف الأساسية لتاريخ العمارة للحقبتين ما قبل والتاريخ القديم ، يدرس في كل موضوع المراحل التاريخية لتطور العمارة ، العوامل المؤثرة ، الخصائص العامة وأهم المعالم لتلك العمارة بالإضافة للدروس المستفادة منها، ويعتمد المقرر طريقة التعليم بالمشاركة والعليم الذاتي والحاضرات النظرية والأبحاث والنزول الميداني وليس للمقرر مقرر سابق.

BAR 214 تصميم بالحاسوب D2                                                               الساعات المعتمدة: 2(1ن+ 0 ت+3ع)

يهدف هذا المقرر إلى التعريف ببرامج الرسم الحديثة ذات البعدين D2 والتر كيز على استخدام برنامج AutoCAD كونه من أهم البرامج الهندسية الحاسوبية التي يستخدمها المهندس المعماري في الوقت الراهن في التصميم وإظهار الرسومات المعمارية. حيث يتم في هذا المقرر دراسة أوامر الرسم والتعديل المختلفة وكذلك إنشاء الأبعاد وإخراج الرسومات المعمارية و تطبيقها على مشروع معماري, بالإضافة إلى أخذ نبذه مختصرة عن برنامج الأوتوكاد المعماري.

 

BAR205 تصميم معماري (3)                                                                   الساعات المعتمدة: 4(1ن+ 0 ت+7ع)

يعد المقرر من المواد الأساسية في البرنامج، ومن خلاله يتعرف الطالب على مشاريع (فندق خمسة نجوم ، نادي ترفيهي ثقافي اجتماعي، منتجع سياحي، مركز حدودي) متعددة الوظائف والطوابق، الحركة بها متداخلة، وتجمع بين التخطيط والتصميم في الموقع العام، الذي يتسم بطبوغرافية متنوعة، بالإضافة إلى الاهتمام بدراسة التنسيق حول المباني، ويتم ذلك من خلال المحاضرات النظرية والعروض التوضيحية والتعلم التعاوني والمناقشة والحوار، وللمقرر متطلبات سابقة وهي مواد التصميم المعماري 1 ، 2 .

 

BAR 326 عمارة داخلية                                                                          الساعات المعتمدة: 2)1ن+ 0 ت+3ع)

يعد المقرر من المواد الأساسية في البرنامج، ومن خلاله يتعرف الطالب على كيفية التعبير بالرسم عن طبيعة الأشياء بدءً بالنماذج البسيطة لخامات الديكور تبعاً للون وملمس كل خامة مستخدمة في العملية التنفيذية للديكور الداخلي، كذلك كيفية تنظيم المخططات المعمارية من الداخل وعمل الحلول اللازمة في التنسيق الداخلي تبعاً لحيز الفراغ الوظيفي من داخل المساقط في التصميم المعماري، وذلك من خلال دراسة العناصر الوظيفية والتشكيلية المؤثرة على التصميم الداخلي( أثاث ، فرش) تبعاً للمشروع المقدم في الدراسة الأولية والمتابعة التصحيحية مع الطالب تبعاً للفكر التنظيمي ونظريات الديكور بمراجعة في تصميمات العمارة الداخلية، وتصميمات الديكور التنفيذية، وطرز التأثيث وتصميمات الفنون التعبيرية وتكنولوجيا التخصص، بحيث يقدم الطالب المشروع على ضوء ذلك بوعي حسي متكامل، ولا يوجد للمقرر متطلبات سابقة.

 

BAR 220 رسومات منظورية                                                                   الساعات المعتمدة: 2(1ن+ 0 ت+3ع)

   يعد المقرر من المواد المساعدة، وهو مقرر نظري عملي يلبي الحاجة للتعبير عن الأفكار التصميمية وإظهارها بصورة أكثر وضوحاً، والتر كيز على طرق الرسم الحديثة ذات الثلاثة الأبعاد3D واستخدام برنامج الاتوكاد المعماري كونه من أهم البرامج الهندسية الحاسوبية التي يستخدمها المهندس المعماري في الوقت الراهن في التصميم وإظهار الرسومات المعمارية. حيث يتم في هذا المقرر دراسة أوامر الرسم الثلاثية والتعديلات المختلفة وكذلك إنشاء الكائنات المعمارية ذات البعد الثلاثي وتطبيقها على مشروع معماري حيث يتم تدريس المادة عن طريق التعليم التعاوني والتعلم الذاتي وكذا المناقشات والتمارين التطبيقية في المحاضرة، و للمقرر متطلبات سابقة تصميم بالحاسوب D2.

 

BAR 209نظريات العمارة (1)                                                                   الساعات المعتمدة: 2(2ن+ 0 ت+0ع)

يعد هذا المقرر من المواد الأساسية والهامة للبرنامج ومن خلاله يتعرف الطالب عن العمارة وشروطها والأسس التصميمية للعمارة ودور المادة والمقياس والألوان في جمال العمارة وكذلك في دراسة الأسس والمعايير التصميمية في الأبنية السكنية والمكاتب والجارجات والمكتبات والفنادق والمسارح ومن خلال المحاضرات النظرية وتقديم الأبحاث وليس للمادة متطلب سابق.

 

BAR 212 تاريخ عمارة (2)                                                                      الساعات المعتمدة: 2(2ن+ 0 ت+0ع)

مقرر نظري يقدم للطالب المعارف الأساسية لتاريخ العمارة في العصور الوسطى ، يدرس في كل موضوع المراحل التاريخية لتطور العمارة ، العوامل المؤثرة ، الخصائص العامة وأهم المعالم لتلك العمارة بالإضافة للدروس المستفادة منها ، ويعتمد المقرر طريقة التعليم بالمشاركة والتقييم للطالب من خلال التكاليف والأبحاث والمحاضرة النظرية والحوار والزيارات الميدانية وللمقرر متطلب سابق تاريخ عمارة (1).

 

BAR 208 إنشاء مباني (2)                                                                      الساعات المعتمدة: 3(2ن+ 0 ت+2ع)

المقرر يتناول العناصر والنظم الإنشائية للبناء الخرساني الجاهز والنظم الإنشائية الهيكلية له وأنواع الأساسات الجاهزة والواح الجدران الجاهزة وكذلك نظم بناء القشريات الخرسانية وتعريفها ونظم المنشئات الهيكلية الحديدية واسقف الكيبل, كما يعطى للطلاب تكاليف تشمل رسومات على ما تم دراسته في الجزء الأول من المحاضرة وأيضا زيارات ميدانية تطبيقية لما تعلمه الطالب في المحاضرات ويتم تدريس المحاضرات باستخدام برنامج البور بوينت (Power Point (Data Show+ والمقرر يوجد له متطلب سابق وهو مادة إنشاء مباني (1).

 

BAR 232 تكنولوجيا مواد بناء                                                                    الساعات المعتمدة: 2(2ن+ 0 ت+0ع)

هذا المرجع المقرر الرئيسي لتعريف الطالب بمواد البناء وخواصها المدخل الأساسي لدروس التصميم المعماري والرسومات التنفيذية لاحقا، حيث يتم في هذا المقرر تعريف الطالب بأنواع مواد البناء وخواصها ووضعية استخدام كل نوع من الأنواع وكذا تعريفه بمميزات وعيوب كل مادة. كما يعطى للطلاب محاضرات معملية وتكاليف تشمل البحث والتزول إلى شركات البناء الموجودة للتعرف على المواد الحديثة وخصائصها. ويتم تدريس المحاضرات باستخدام برنامج البور بوينت، وللمقرر متطلبات مصاحبة إنشاء مباني (2).

 

BENG 07 Engineering Mechanics                                                                         (2L+2T+0P) 3 credits

The general importance of this course is to provide students with physical background with the variable ways that help them to solve real problems. This Course includes Concurrent force systems, Vectors, motion , work and energy, Impact , Rotational Motion and Rolling Motion. The course carried out using the lectures and self-learning, Assignments, Problems solving, Brainstorming session and Group work used to teach this course. Evaluation via Written and Oral Examinations, Assignments evaluation, Quizzes and observation. The prerequisite of this course is physics.

BAR304 تصميم معماري (4)                                                                     الساعات المعتمدة: 4(1ن+0 ت+ 7ع)

يعد المقرر من المواد الأساسية في البرنامج، ومن خلاله يتعرف الطالب على كيفية تصميم المشاريع الصحية (مستشفى 300 سرير) وذلك من كونها مشاريع متعددة الوظائف والطوابق، الحركة بها متداخلة أفقيا ورأسيا، حيث يصمم الطالب المشروع في مرحله المختلفة، دراسة تحليلية، أفكار تصميمية وفلسفتها نظريا، موقع عام ومساقط وواجهات، ويتم ذلك من خلال المحاضرات النظرية والعروض التوضيحية والتعلم التعاوني والمناقشة والحوار، وللمقرر متطلبات سابقة وهي مواد التصميم المعماري 1 ، 2،3.

 

BAR 317 تصميمات تنفيذية (1)                                                                  الساعات المعتمدة: 2(1ن+0 ت+ 3ع)

يركز المقرر على كيفية إعداد وإخراج التصاميم المعمارية التنفيذية (الموقع العام, المساقط، القطاعات، الواجھات, تفاصيل معمارية( والجداول الخاصة بها, ويتم تطبيق ذلك على مشروع متكامل يتم اختياره من أحد الفصول السابقة التي تعلم فيها الطالب الرسومات المعمارية الابتدائية, بحيث يتجه الطالب في هذا المقرر إلى تحويل تلك الرسومات إلى تصميمات تنفيذية نهائية تصلح إلى تطبيقها على ارض الواقع، حيث تمثل التصميمات التنفيذية احد اهم عناصر مستندات طرح العطاءات والمناقصات للمشروعات الهندسية وتعد الركيزة الأساسية التي يعتمد عليها المقاولون في تحديد أسعار تنفيذ تلك المشروعات.

المقرر من المواد التخصصية الهامة ويعني بدراسة تاريخ تخطيط المدن في العصور القديمة والكلاسيكية والوسطى والنهضة والباروك والعصر الصناعي، ويتطرق إلى التخطيط ونظرياته وأركانه والدراسات الاستطلاعية الشاملة ومستويات التخطيط ويركز على دراسة المدينة وعناصرها وأنواع السكان والإسكان والكثافات، ودراسة مواقع المصانع واخيراً التعرف على ماهية المسح الميداني من خلال المحاضرات النظرية والابحاث والتقارير والنزول الميداني وحل المشاكل والعروض والمناقشة وليس للمقرر متطلب سابق.

يعتبر المقرر من احد المقررات الأساسية بالبرنامج، ومن خلال المقرر يمكن الوصول الى طرق عمل مواصفات ومقايسات بنود أعمال البناء، وأهمية المقرر للطالب تتركز في إكساب الطلاب القدرة على إعداد المقايسات الكمية والثمينة ووصف بنود أعمال البناء، ولفهم الطالب المقرر لابد وأن يدرس أساسيات الرياضيات وتكفي معلومات المرحلة الثانوية، ويعد المقرر من المقرات الداعمة للمقررات الأساسية في البرنامج، ولا يوجد متطلبات مصاحبة للمقرر، ومن خلاله يتعرف الطالب على: الشروط والمواصفات العامة لعقود البناء، مواصفات ومقايسات بنود أعمال المباني المختلفة (أعمال الحفر والردم، أعمال الخرسانة العادية والمسلحة، أعمال المباني، أعمال الطبقة العازلة) ويتم ذلك من خلال المحاضرات النظرية والتمارين والعروض الضوئية والعصف الذهني والمناقشات الفردية والجماعية.

يعد من المواد المساعدة، وهو مقرر نظري عملي يلبي الحاجة للتعبير عن الأفكار التصميمية وإظهارها بصورة اكثر وضوحا، والتركيز على استخدام برنامج D MAX3 والفوتوشوب كونهما من اهم البرامج الهندسية الحاسوبية التي يستخدمها المهندس المعماري في الوقت الراهن في إظهار المشاريع وإخراجها بصورتها النهائية، ويتم ذلك من خلال المحاضرات النظرية والعروض التوضيحية والتعلم التعاوني والمناقشة والحوار، وللمقرر متطلب سابق هو مادة رسومات منظورية.

يقدم هذا المقرر لطلاب الهندسة المعمارية معرفة نظرية وعملية بكيفية حساب الأعمال المركزة والموزعة بانتظام على بعض العناصر الإنشائية مثل الكمرات، الإطارات، العقود، الجمالونات من النوع المحددة استاتيكيا ومن ثم التعرف على أنواع الركائز وكيفية إيجاد مركبات ردود الأفعال (القوى العمودية، قوى القص، عزوم الانحناء) بما فيها المعادلات الشرطية، بالإضافة إلى أن الطالب يتعرف على كيفية ترجمة مركبات ردود الأفعال المختلفة إلى مخططات توضح سلوك تلك القوى تأثيرها على العناصر الإنشائية المختلفة بما في ذلك العلاقة التي تربط تلك القوى ومخططاتها مع بعضها البعض، كما يعطي الطالب القدرة على حساب القوى الداخلية عند أية نقطة على طول العنصر الإنشائي، ويتم تدريس هذا المقرر عن طريق المحاضرات النظرية والعروض الإيضاحية والحوار والمناقشة وحل المشكلات والتعلم الذاتي، كما يتم التقييم عن طريق الاختبارات التحريرية (نصفي، ونهائي) والشفهية والاختبارات القصيرة (Quiz) والتقارير والبحوث وتقييم الأفكار التصميمية المتعلقة بالمقرر والتعلم التعاوني والمناقشة والحوار، وللمقرر متطلب سابق هو مادة الرياضيات.

يعتبر المقرر من المواد الأساسية التخصصية ومن خلاله يتعرف الطالب على العمارة العربية والإسلامية وخصائصها وعناصرها والمدارس والنظريات المختلفة للعمارة وكذلك رواد هذه المدارس وأعمالهم من خلال الدراسة والبحث والمحاضرات النظرية والعروض والزيارات الميدانية وللمقرر متطلب سابق وهو نظريات العمارة (1).

يعتبر المقرر من أحد المقررات الأساسية بالبرنامج، ومن خلال المقرر يمكن الوصول إلى الأسس التصميمية البيئية وفهم عائد الحلول البيئية مع استخدام التفكير العلمي في حلها. وأهمية المقرر للطالب تتركز في فهم العلاقة بين المباني والبيئة والتعرف على الملامح البيئية لمناطق مناخية مختلفة. ولفهم الطالب المقرر لابد وان يدرس أساسيات الرياضيات والفيزياء وتكفي معلومات المرحلة الثانوية، ويعد المقرر من المتطلبات الداعمة للمقررات الأساسية في البرنامج ولا يوجد متطلبات مصاحبة للمقرر. ومن خلاله يتعرف الطالب على: الأقاليم المناخية – عناصر المناخ الرئيسية - حركة وزوايا الشمس - الإشعاع الشمسي وتأثيراته - كاسرات الشمس وأنواعها- التهوية الطبيعية – الأنماط التخطيطية والعناصر المعمارية للأقاليم الحارة الصحراوية - النظريات البيئية واستخدامها في عمارة الصحراء – تطبيق النظريات البيئية على العمارة المعاصرة، ويتم ذلك من خلال المحاضرات النظرية والعروض الضوئية والعصف الذهني والمناقشات الفردية والجماعية.

يعد المقرر من المواد الأساسية في البرنامج، ومن خلاله يتعرف الطالب على مشاريع (مستشفيات _ المطارات _وغيرها من المشاريع النوعية) متعددة الوظائف والطوابق، الحركة بها متداخلة، وتجمع بين التخطيط والتصميم في الموقع العام، الذي يتسم بطبوغرافية متنوعة، بالإضافة إلى الاهتمام بدراسة التنسيق حول المباني، وذلك من خلال المحاضرات النظرية والزيارات الميدانية والبحوث والتطبيقات ,وللمقرر متطلبات سابقة نظريات عمارة، أسس تصميم، رسم وتعبير معماري، رسم حر وهي مواد التصميم المعماري 1 ، 2 ، 3 ,4.

يركز المقرر على كيفية إعداد وإخراج التصاميم المكملة للرسومات المعمارية التنفيذية (الإنشائية, الصحية, الكهربائية, الميكانيكية ( والجداول الخاصة بها التي تناولها في مقرر السابق تصميمات تنفيذية 1, ويتم تطبيق ذلك على مشروع متكامل يراعى فيه استخدام نظم إنشائية مختلفة: المنشآت ذات البحور الطويلة، الهياكل الصلبة، الهياكل الفراغية، الأنظمة المعلقـة، الأنظمة الخيمية، الأنظمة القشرية، ويتم اختياره من أحد الفصول السابقة التي تعلم فيها الطالب الرسومات المعمارية الابتدائية, بحيث يتجه الطالب في هذا المقرر إلى تحويل تلك الرسومات إلى تصميمات تنفيذية نهائية تصلح إلى تطبيقها على ارض الواقع.

يعد المقرر من المواد النظرية الأساسية في التخصص، ومن خلاله يتعرف الطالب على أساسيات ومفاهيم السكن والإسكان، ومشاكل الإسكان ومظاهرها وأسبابها والحلول المختلفة للقضاء عليها، كالمسكن النواة والمواقع والخدمات والإسكان بالجهود الذاتية والمشاركة الشعبية – الإسكان العشوائي - التخطيط العام للمناطق السكنية - فكرة المجاورة السكنية - الخدمات العامة ومعدلاتها - المعايير التصميمية للمجاورة السكنية - المتطلبات الأساسية في اختيار المواقع السكنية وتحليلها والإعداد للعملية التخطيطية – مع التعرف على استراتيجيات وإنتاج الإسكان في دول العالم الثالث، وتجربة الإسكان في اليمن، ويتم ذلك من خلال المحاضرات النظرية والعروض التوضيحية والتعلم التعاوني والمناقشة والحوار، ولا يوجد للمقرر متطلبات سابقة.

يركز هذا المقرر على علم تنسيق المواقع والذي يعتبر أحد التخصصات المهمة في الهندسة المعمارية و يتعرف فيه الطالب على التطور والتسلسل التاريخي للحدائق وسمات كل عصر تاريخي ومعرفة مكوناتها. كما يركز على الأسس والمفاهيم والمعايير المعاصرة في التنسيق مع الأخذ في الاعتبار البيئة المحلية وظروفها في تصميم الحديقة المنزلية و الحدائق العامة. كذلك يتم تدريب الطالب على تحليل الموقع عبر فهم خصائصه ومكوناته من خلال الزيارات الميدانية للمواقع والدراسات التحليلية حسب طبيعة كل مشروع حيث يقوم الطالب بتسليم مشروعين لتصميم الحديقة المنزلية وتصميم الحديقة العامة, حيث وأن هذا المقرر جديد ولا يعتمد على مقرر سابق.

يعتبر المقرر من المقررات الداعمة لتخصص الهندسة المعمارية وكذلك من المقررات الإجبارية ويتطلب اجتياز مقرر نظرية إنشاءات، ويقدم المقرر لطلاب الهندسة المعمارية تحليل وتصميم الأعضاء الخرسانية المسلحة ويركز المقرر على استخدام طريقة المقاومة في تحليل وتصميم المقاطع الأساسية: المقاطع الخرسانية المستطيلة أحادية التسليح والمقاطع ذات الجناحين والبلاطات ذات الاتجاه الواحد وذات الاتجاهين المصمتة والمعصبة وتصميم الأساسات المنفردة. ويتم تدريس هذا المقرر عن طريق المحاضرات النظرية والعروض الإيضاحية والحوار والمناقشة وحل المشكلات والتعلم ذاتي، كما يتم التقييم عن طريق الاختبارات التحريرية (نصفي ونهائي) والشفهية والاختبارات القصيرة (Quiz) والتقارير والبحوث وتقييم الأفكار التصميمية وتقييم مشاريع متعلقة بالمقرر.

يعد المقرر من المقررات الأساسية في التخصص ومن خلاله يتعرف الطالب على العناصر المكونة للمدن ومتطلباتها واستراتيجياتها، وبما يمكنه من تقديم أفكار و تصورات تخطيطية مستقبلية للمدن التي يمكن التعرض لها مستقبلاً في حياته العملية، إلى جانب اختيار مدينة قائمة ورفعها ودراسة مشاكلها وإمكانيتها ومعوقاتها والتوجيهات اللازمة لحلها، والتي من خلالها يتعلم الطالب كيفية الحفاظ على المدن التاريخية وإعادة تخطيطها بما يتلاءم مع المتطلبات الحديثة، وكذلك إعادة تخطيط المدينة الحديثة، وعمل تخطيط مستقبلي للمدينة بشكل عام، ويتم ذلك من خلال المحاضرات النظرية والعروض التوضيحية والتعلم التعاوني والمناقشة والحوار، وللمقرر متطلبات سابقة وهي مادة تخطيط عمراني(1).

     يُعد هذا المقرر من أهم المقررات الدراسية كونه يمكن الطالب الجامعي من المهارات التي تساعده على إنجاز بحث التخرج، وهو يعمل على إكسابه مجموعة من المعلومات والمعارف حول العلم والمعرفة، والبحث العلمي ومناهجه، وينمي الاتجاهات الإيجابية لدى المتعلم تجاه البحث العلمي، ويتحقق ذلك من خلال مجموعة من الأنشطة الفاعلة (طرائق وأساليب تدريس، ووسائل ) كطريقة الحوار والمناقشة، والتعلم الذاتي، والبحث، والتطبيقات، مع استخدام الباوربوينت عند العرض، وتقييم الطالب من خلال المشاركة الصفية والتكليفات المصاحبة – الصفية واللاصفية – والاختبار النصفي والنهائي.

يهف هذا المقرر إلى تعليم الطلاب كيفية تأهيل وتجميل المباني القائمة وربطها بما يبني من مباني جديدة في نفس الموقع وعلاقتها بالمناطق الحضرية والمساحات المفتوحة والبيئة المحيطة, وذلك من خلال المحاضرات النظرية والزيارات الميدانية والبحوثات والتطبيقات. ويعتبر هذا المقرر حلقة وصل ما بين التخطيط العمراني والتصميم المعماري.

BAR 414 تخطيط إقليمي                                                                           الساعات المعتمدة: 3(1ن+0 ت+ 5ع)

يعد المقرر من المقررات الأساسية في التخصص ومن خلاله يتعرف الطالب على أنواع التخطيط، مع التركيز على التخطيط الإقليمي والمنهجية المتبعة في دراسة التخطيط الإقليمي بأنواعه ومبادئه ومن ثم تطبيق ذلك على الواقع من خلال مشروع تطبيقي, كما يعطى للطلاب تكاليف تشمل رفع ودراسة الوضع الراهن والتطور المستقبلي لفترة زمنية تقدر ب 25 سنة مقبلة، بالإضافة إلى الزيارات الميدانية للإقليم المستهدف، ويتم ذلك من خلال المحاضرات النظرية والعروض التوضيحية والتعلم التعاوني والمناقشة والحوار والنزول الميداني، ويوجد للمقرر متطلبات سابقه وهي مادتي تخطيط عمراني (1) وتخطيط عمراني (2).

يعتبر المقرر من أهم المقررات في تحديد مواضيع مشاريع التخرج وفيه يدرس الطالب المشاريع المشابهة وتحديد عناصر ومساحات المشروع ودراسة المواقع الأسس والاعتبارات التصميمية والتخطيطية والعمرانية وصولاً للاستنتاجات التصميمية خلال المحاضرات النظرية والبحوث والتقارير والعروض التوضيحية والزيارات الميدانية كما يعتبر الأساس لمشروع تخرج (2).

يعد المقرر من المواد المتطلبة والداعمة للتخصص، ومن خلاله يتعرف الطالب على أساسيات تصميم نظم التغذية بالمياه والصرف الصحي وتصريف الأمطار وتحديد متطلبات وأحجام الأجزاء والمكونات ( للتركيبات الصحية ) اللازمة وقوانين ومعايير التمديدات والمواصفات التقنية والتفتيش والاختبار وتحلية المياه والتحكم في مياه الصرف وتنقيتها وإعادة استعمالها بالإضافة إلى التعرف على الحرائق ومصادرها وأنظمة التحكم والوقاية من حدوثها وسبل مكافحة انتشارها فور حدوثها، ويتم ذلك من خلال المحاضرات النظرية والعروض التوضيحية والتعلم التعاوني والمناقشة والحوار، ولا يوجد للمقرر متطلبات سابقة.

يعتبر المقرر من أحد المقررات الأساسية بالبرنامج، ومن خلال المقرر يمكن الوصول إلى فراغات المباني المختلفة وظيفيا بحيث تكون مناسبة صوتيا وإضاءة طبيعية كافية. وأهمية المقرر للطالب تتركز في إكساب الطلاب المعرفة والمهارات اللازمة لإيجاد حلول تصميمية مناسبة وتنمية قدراتهم على تحليل الفراغ الداخلي من وجهة نظر الصوت والضوء. ولفهم الطالب المقرر لابد وان يدرس أساسيات الفيزياء وتكفي معلومات المرحلة الثانوية، ويعد المقرر من المتطلبات الداعمة للمقررات الأساسية في البرنامج ولا يوجد متطلبات مصاحبة للمقرر. ومن خلاله يتعرف الطالب على: التعريفات والمحددات والوحدات الصوتية – صوتيات الفراغات المغلقة – أسس التحكم في الضوضاء – مصطلحات علمية في الإضاءة - الضوء حساباته – مصادر الإضاءة – العوامل المؤثرة على شدة الإضاءة الطبيعية – اعتبارات خاصة لاستخدام الإضاءة الطبيعية في المناطق الحارة الصحراوية – التأثيرات السيكولوجية لاستخدام الإضاءة الصناعية بالفراغات الداخلية للمباني، ويتم ذلك من خلال المحاضرات النظرية والعروض الضوئية والعصف الذهني والمناقشات الفردية والجماعية.

يعتبر مشروع التخرج من أهم المتطلبات بالنسبة للطالب ويتناول هذا المقرر قيام الطالب بعمل مشروع في احد المشاريع المعمارية وبالتنسيق مع القسم، وهو يمثل امتداد للدراسة النظرية في مادة مشروع تخرج (1) التي مر بها الطالب وهي تعكس شخصية الطالب من خلال التراكم المعرفي خلال سنوات دراسته في إطار تصميمه مشروع متكامل من خلال المحاضرات النظرية والتعليم الذاتي والتقارير والبحوث والزيارات الميدانية والعروض الإيضاحية وللمقرر متطلب سابق مشروع تخرج(1).

 

BAR 430 إدارة مشاريع                                                                  الساعات المعتمدة: 2(2ن+0 ت+ 0ع)

يمثل هذا المقرر المرجع الرئيسي لتعريف الطالب بكيفية التعامل مع المشاريع الهندسية وارداتها وكيفية إعداد البرامج الزمنية لها وتعتبر المادة المدخل الأساسي للجانب العملي وإعداد مدير المشروع. ويتم في هذا المقرر تعريف الطالب بكيفية الإعداد الجيد والترتيب للمشروع بدء من الأعمال المكتبية مرورا بمرحلة التنفيذ الأعمال الإنشائية في الموقع انتهاء بتسليم المشروع لصاحب العمل وفق الخطة المرسومة من قبل مدير المشروع ووفق الجدول الزمني الموضوع لهذا الغرض. كما يعطي للطالب تكليف من بداية الترم يصمم خلاله جدول زمني خاص لكافة الأعمال التي سيمر بها مشروعه ويتم مناقشة المشاكل الناتجة عن الترحيل في بعض الأعمال وكيفية معالجة كل مشكلة على حدة. يتم تدريس المحاضرات باستخدام برنامج بور بوينت والمقرر يوجد له متطلبات سابقة ومصاحبة وهي كميات ومواصفات ومشروع تخرج 2.

يهدف المقرر إلى تنمية بعض المهارات القيادية والإدارية لدى الدارسين، وتنمية فرص التميز لديهم، من خلال تعريفهم بسمات الشخصية القيادية والإدارية، وأهم طرق وأساليب التحول من التبعية إلى القيادة، وتعريفهم بأهم استراتيجيات التميز والتفاعل القيادي، إضافة إلى تنمية بعض مهارات وأخلاقيات القيادة والإدارة المتعلقة بالتخطيط وإدارة الذات والآخرين، وطرق وأساليب اتخاذ القرارات الفعالة، وأساليب التحفيز، وأساليب التحفيز، ومهارات قيادة التغيير، وأخلاقيات الإدارة والقيادة.

يعد المقرر من المواد النظرية الاختيارية والداعمة للتخصص، ومن خلاله يتعرف الطالب على أساليب الحفاظ العمراني والمعماري، وما يرتبط بها من مفاهيم تصميمية تتوافق مع أهداف الصيانة والمحافظة على المباني ذات القيمة بما يضمن تأهيلها للعمل مع متطلبات الحياة العصرية وتأدية وظيفتها بشكل مناسب، وذلك لأهمية هذه المباني في تكوين تراث المجتمع ودورها في المحتوى العمراني، مع التعرض لأهمية الحفاظ وأساليب إعادة التوظيف المختلفة. ويتم ذلك من خلال المحاضرات النظرية والعروض التوضيحية والتعلم التعاوني والمناقشة والحوار، وللمقرر متطلب سابق (تخطيط عمراني 1).

يعد المقرر من المواد الاختيارية والداعمة للتخصص، ومن خلاله يتعرف الطالب على طبيعة وحركة الشمس، والإشعاع الشمسي، وزوايا سقوط الشمس، وحساب الإشعاع الشمسي، والتعرف على كمية الطاقة الساقطة على المبنى، وتحديد التدوير الأمثل للمبنى، مع التعرف على النظم المستخدمة والاستفادة منها في مجال العمارة والعمران. ويتم ذلك من خلال المحاضرات النظرية والعروض التوضيحية والتعلم التعاوني والمناقشة والحوار، ولا يوجد للمقرر متطلبات سابقة.

هذا المقرر يعطي الطالب فكرة أساسية عن طرق التدفئة والتبريد والمركزية والطاقة الشمسية وانتقال الحرارة بالتوصيل وبالحمل بالإشعاع وانتقال الحرارة المركب والتدفئة بالتوالي والتوازي وكذلك أسس تكيف الهواء وعملية تسخين وتبريد الهواء مع التحكم بالرطوبة وحساب الأحمال والحرارة على المبنى واستخدام خرائط تكيف الهواء مع عمل تمارين متنوعة وذلك عن طريق المحاضرات النظرية والمناقشة وحل التمارين والمقرر من المقررات الاختيارية وليس له مقرر سابق.

Digital Signal Processing (DSP) is concerned with the representation of signals in digital form, and with the processing of these signals, and the information that they carry. Topics that will be covered in this course include, Discrete signals and systems, Analysis of discrete time LTI System in time domain, Convolution and Correlation, Sampling, Z-transform, Inverse Z-transform and properties, Analysis of LTI System in Z-domain, Frequency-domain characteristics of LTI System, Frequency response of LTI System, Discrete Fourier transforms and fast Fourier transforms, Finite impulse response (FIR) filter design, Infinite impulse response (IIR) filter design and realization of digital filters, Wavelet Bases on Sequences. The teaching strategy includes Lecture and seminars. This course is mandatory.

MEE02 Embedded Systems                                                                                                             3credits

This course supply student with the advanced topic of embedded system. Issues such as embedded processor selection, development tools, firmware architecture, design, and debugging are discussed. The Intel 8051, a very popular microcontroller, is deeply studied. The Interfacing of this processor to external memory, LCD and sensors are argued. As FPGA’s are becoming part of embedded systems, it is essential for an embedded system developer to be familiar with a hardware description language such as VHDL. Therefore, this course introduces VHDL by informally describing the facilities provided by the language, and using examples to illustrate them. This course depends on lectures, examples, and assignments as teaching strategies. In addition, it depends on introduction of microcontroller as prerequisite course.

يعتبر مقرر طرق البحث من المقررات الهامة والإجبارية لطلاب الدراسات العليا كونه يفتح لهم أفاقا جديدهً من المعارف والطرق والتقنيات المتبعة في البحث العلمي ويقدم لهم طرق البحث بخطوات علمية. ويساعد المقرر طالب الدراسات العليا على معرفة مناهج البحث المختلفة ومكونات وكيفية اعداد أطروحة البحث بالإضافة لاستخدام البرامج الحاسوبية المساعدة في اعداد وتوثيق البحث. المقرر أيضا يمكن الطالب من معرفة معايير كتابة ونقد الأوراق العلمية. من ضمن طرق التدريس للمقرر المحاضرات النظرية والمناقشات والعروض الفردية وتكاليف اعداد بحوث إضافة الى تكاليف نقد وتقييم الأوراق والاطروحات العلمية.

MBM 001 Modeling and simulation of physiological systems                                                 3credits

This course provides an introduction to computational modeling of biomedical systems, with an emphasis on practical aspects of implementing and solving a broad range of models commonly used in bioengineering. Areas to be covered include Background to modeling in Bioengineering, Modeling electrical stimulation of excitable tissue, Models of diffusion and heat transfer, Biomechanics models, Biofluid mechanics models, Multiphysics modeling.

The lectures, tutorials and computer labs, self-learning, assignments and discussion are the methods used to teach course. The required for this course is basic knowing of Solving systems of ordinary, differential equations, Partial differential equations, Finite-difference and finite-element techniques.

MBM 002 Hospital Engineering and management                                                                         3credits

Healthcare Technology Management aims for optimal acquisition and utilization of healthcare technologies as part of efficient and cost-effective healthcare services. It is equally important to address the physical environment/s within which healthcare is provided, as well as the information systems supporting healthcare delivery. Course topics include: Role of hospital in Health care, Hospital planning and design, Biomedical equipment procurement procedure, Biomedical equipment management, Hospital management, Database Management System, Hospital electrical System and Hospital Gas supply system.

Students will getthe knowledge in Lectures, Group discussion, Self-learning, Projects and assignments with presentations. The course doesn’t require any prerequisites.

MBM 003 Advance medical Imaging                                                                                              3credits

In recent years, research in diagnostic imaging modalities is required to detect early diseases. The primary focus of this course is on the advanced physical imaging principles, instrumentation methods, and imaging algorithms, however the medical interpretation of images and the clinical, research and ethical issues in medical imaging are also included where possible to give students a deeper understanding of the development and applications of medical imaging. This course covers Fourier image representation, sampling, and image filtering with applications in medical imaging. Principles of operation, impulse responses, signal-to-noise, resolution and design tradeoffs in projection radiography, tomography, nuclear medicine, ultrasound, and Magnetic resonance imaging.

This course depends on lectures, examples, and weekly homework. Knowledge of linear signals & systems, convolution, basic probability, ID Fourier Transforms is needed.

MBM006 Medical Informatics                                                                                                          3credits

In recent years, research into medical informatics, which deals with effectively organizing, analyzing, managing, and using information in health care, is increasing. This course will introduce medical Informatics including definitions, theory, technologies, workflow and expectations in the informatics field, tools, and professional organizations. This course offers an overview of the field of biomedical informatics, combining perspectives from medicine, computer science and cognitive/social science for use of computers and information in health care and biomedical sciences, covering specific applications and general methods, current issues, capabilities and limitations of biomedical informatics. Topics will focus on medical databases, Structure and application of HIS and future and directions of informatics. This course depends on lectures, examples, and weekly homework and labs. No prerequisite courses are needed.

MBM008 Biosensors and advance Bioinstrumentation                                                                3credits

This course provides an overview of the principles, technologies, methods and applications of biosensors and bioinstrumentation. This course includes: overview of Biomedical Sensors, sensor application-Measurements of Blood Flow and Volume and Respiratory system, and Biosensors, advanced physiological monitoring and therapeutic devices.  

The lectures and self-learning , research and discussion are the methods used to teach course.

This course provides an overview of the engineering principles underlying the design and utilization of devices for persons with disabilities. Topics include: Introduction to Rehabilitation Engineering, Wheel Chair, Orthotic & Prosthetic Devices, Assistive Technology for Vision & Hearing, Advanced Applications. MBML03 Advance Biomechanics                                                                                                     3credits

In recent years, research in movement disorders like CP, parkinsons, stroke and musculoskeletal disease like arthritis, osteoporosis is required to solve engineering solution. The goal of this course is to teach students how to develop dynamic models, analyses, and simulations of the human musculoskeletal system for different types of movement. This course covers biomechanics of walking, biomechanics of the upper extremity, movement dynamics, dynamic simulations of human movement, muscle coordination of movement, joint torque from muscle anatomical classification and function analysis of jumping.

Learning will be achieved through a series of lectures, journal article presentations, laboratory exercises, and a course project. Knowledge of basics mechanics and human anatomy is needed.

MBML04 Artificial Organsand prostheses                                                                                   3credits

This course provides an overview of a sufficient theoretical knowledge of existing artificial organ and prostheses, focusing on their goals, working principles, and limitations

This course including introduction of artificial organs, artificial kidney and artificial liver. The basic physiology artificial organ and prostheses, with emphasis on identifying the bioengineering design requirements for appropriate organ replacement systems, cardiopulmonary bypass systems; hemodialysis systems. Specific engineering/physical chemical concepts in artificial organ and prostheses.

This course provides key areas in which nanotechnology can benefit in biomedical and nanomaterials applications. MBML06 Bioinformatics                                                                                                                 3credits

Bioinformatics is a rapidly evolving and developing field both in terms of breadth of scope of useful applications and in terms of depth of what can be accomplished.

This course is designed to introduce bioinformatics at a level appropriate for biomedical engineering majors having completed courses for chemistry, computer science, and math majors with an interest in biology. This course covers sequence alignment; data mining, Protein Structure Prediction, and microarrays. This course depends on lectures, examples, and weekly homework. By using the well-tested and successful approach of problem-based learning, students will learn through applying the strategies and tools used in bioinformatics to topical problems drawn from ongoing research and applications in a variety of fields. We will assume some background in molecular biology and genetics and no computer science prerequisites for this course.

MCE02 Advanced Computer Networks                                                                                        3credits

This course provides a broad coverage of some new advanced topics in the field of computer networks (TCP/IP, MPLS, Optical networks, wireless networks, mobile networks, VPN networks, Mobile IP, and more advanced topics). The course includes Layered communication architecture such as layers, services, protocols, layer entities, service access points, protocol functions; Advanced Routing algorithms; Advanced Network Congestion Control algorithms; Quality of service; MPLS; Internetworking; Performance Issues; Overview on VPN networks; Overview on Wireless Networks and Mobile Networks: LAN, PAN, Sensor Networks, Ad hoc networks, and Pervasive computing; metro networks and optical networks. The course introduces digital image processing techniques and their applications. The course covers the fundamentals of digital image representation, processing, and compression. Emphasizes image Filtering, Restoration, segmentation and enhancement techniques in both spatial and frequency domain. It also introduces color image fundamentals and processing. Furthermore, the course identifies and introduces the important methods, and applications of image compression. The purpose of this course is to introduce the digital image processing techniques and applications. Understanding of this course will be enhanced by examples and assignments using Matlab. MCE04 Advanced Operating Systems                                                                                            3credits

The course will start with a brief historical perspective of the evolution of operating systems over the last fifty years, and then cover the major components and structure of most operating systems. This discussion will cover the tradeoffs that can be made between performance and functionality during the design and implementation of an operating system. Particular emphasis will be given to these major OS subsystems: process management (processes, threads, CPU scheduling, synchronization, and deadlock), memory management (segmentation, paging, swapping), file systems, disk management and networking/distributed systems. This course depends on lectures, examples, and self-learning as teaching strategies. Also, it depends on operating system as prerequisite courses.

MCE05 Advanced Artificial Intelligence Systems                                             3credits

This course introduces the concepts and algorithms that are developed in the fields of artificial intelligence. It will provide students and introduction to soft computing (SC), state space representation; blind and heuristic search, artificial neural networks, fuzzy sets theory, fuzzy logic, probabilistic reasoning, meta-heuristics algorithms, neuro-fuzzy technology, hybrid systems and applications of artificial intelligence systems (three to four real life applications). To achieve these course goals different teaching strategies will be applied such as direct, indirect and interactive and self-learning. The Pre-requisites of this course is Artificial Intelligence.

MCE06 Advanced Computer Networks Security                                                                        3credits

This course aims to provide student with in-depth knowledge of network security and cryptography. Topics covered include a review for principles of classic and current symmetric/asymmetric encryption algorithms, mode of operation, key management, network attacks, authentication protocols, transport-level security, wireless network security, e-mail security, and IP security. Principles of encryption, their properties and applications to security protocols are analyzed. Techniques to ensure information security assurance, networks protection against external attack and internal misuse are dealt with. Current security issues in the emerged networking technologies should be discussed. Thereafter, student should also be able to make technical choices on encryption-based systems and use them to secure transactions over open network, and evaluate the provisions for network security and set up secure-based services. It is assumed that student has a background in the basic calculus and probability, computer security and computer networking.

MCE07 Data Structure and Algorithms                                                                                         3credits

The objective of this course is for students to learn about a wider range of algorithms and data structures. It is an introduction to data structures and algorithms which emphasizes algorithm analysis and the development of efficient code. Important background materials, such as algorithm analysis methods, performance measurement techniques to data structures with an emphasis on linear data and non-linear structures. Topics include performance analysis, asymptotic notation, performance measurement, lists, stacks, queues, graphs and trees. Basics of search and sort algorithms will be covered. Programming will be in C++ or Java language. The Pre-requisites of this course are Programming Language and Discrete Structure. To achieve these course goals different teaching strategies will be applied such as direct, indirect and interactive and self-learning.

MCE08 Advanced Database                                                                                                            3credits

This course aims to equip students with principles and knowledge of advanced topics in database systems management such as database security, transaction management, distributed database, replication and mobile databases, object oriented database, and web database. This course required students to study fundamentals of database as a prerequisite course.

MCE09 Real-Time Systems                                                                                                             3credits

This course covers the principles of real-time and embedded systems inherent in many hardware platforms and applications being developed for engineering and science as well as for ubiquitous systems, including robotics and manufacturing, interactive and multimedia, immersive and omnipresent applications. As part of this course, students will learn about real-time and quality of service system principles, understand real-time operating systems and the resource management and quality of service issues that arise, and construct sample applications on representative platforms. Topics covered include characterizing real-time systems, performance measure, task assigning, scheduling, Fault tolerant scheduling, run-time error handling, run-time support, kernel, real time databases, real-time communication, software development techniques; practical applications. MCE10 Fault Tolerant Computing Systems                                                                                  3credits

Fault tolerance is the ability of a system to continue performing its intended function despite of faults. In a broad sense, fault tolerance is associated with reliability, successful operation, and the absence of breakdowns. The goal of fault tolerance is the development of a dependable system. This course introduces the hardware and software methodologies for specifying, modeling and designing fault-tolerant systems supported by case studies of real systems. Topics include Fundamentals of dependability, Dependability evaluation, Hardware redundancy and Software fault tolerance. The course introduces the theories and algorithms of computer vision. The course provides an introduction to computer vision, including such topics as feature detection, image segmentation, motion estimation, image mosaics, 3D shape reconstruction, and object recognition. It also Provides a profound understanding of image formation and structure from motion. Furthermore, the course identifies and introduces the important methods, and applications of object detection and recognition. The purpose of this course is to compute properties of the three-dimensional world from digital images. Understanding of this course will be enhanced by examples and assignments using Matlab. MCE13 Sensor Networks                                                                                                                 3credits

Wide range of applications such as disaster management, military and security have fueled the interest in sensor networks during the past few years. Sensors are typically capable of wireless communication and are significantly constrained in the amount of available resources such as energy, storage and computation. Such constraints make the design and operation of sensor networks considerably different from contemporary wireless networks, and necessitate the development of resource conscious protocols and management techniques. This course provides a broad coverage of challenges and latest research results related to the design and management of wireless sensor networks. Covered topics include network architectures, node discovery and localization, deployment strategies, node coverage, routing protocols, medium access arbitration, fault-tolerance, and network security. We will introduce the students to wireless networking research and guide them to investigate novel ideas in the area via semester-long research projects. We will also look at industry trends and discuss some innovative ideas that have recently been developed. Some of the course material will be drawn from research papers, industry white papers and Internet RFCs.

This course include analysis and application of computer control systems, Input-output computer ports, Serial and parallel ports, Computer control software, AD/DA interfacing, Stepper motor drive, Sampled Data System, Z-Transforms, Z-plane analysis of digital control systems. Closed Loop feedback Sample Data System, Stability analysis in the Z-Plane, Performance of Sampled Data (Second order system.), Closed Loop System with Digital Computer Compensation, Design of discrete-Time computer Control System via Transform Methods, State Space analyses and design, Also the response and performance of those systems is checked and analyzed on the computer using (MATLAB) soft-ware. يعتبر مقرر طرق البحث من المقررات الهامة والإجبارية لطلاب الدراسات العليا كونه يفتح لهم أفاقا جديدهً من المعارف والطرق والتقنيات المتبعة في البحث العلمي ويقدم لهم طرق البحث بخطوات علمية. ويساعد المقرر طالب الدراسات العليا على معرفة مناهج البحث المختلفة ومكونات وكيفية اعداد أطروحة البحث بالإضافة لاستخدام البرامج الحاسوبية المساعدة في اعداد وتوثيق البحث. المقرر أيضا يمكن الطالب من معرفة معايير كتابة ونقد الأوراق العلمية. من ضمن طرق التدريس للمقرر المحاضرات النظرية والمناقشات والعروض الفردية وتكاليف اعداد بحوث إضافة الى تكاليف نقد وتقييم الأوراق والاطروحات العلمية.

The course introduces digital image processing techniques and their applications. The course covers the fundamentals of digital image representation, processing, and compression. Emphasizes image Filtering, Restoration, segmentation and enhancement techniques in both spatial and frequency domain. It also introduces color image fundamentals and processing. Furthermore, the course identifies and introduces the important methods, and applications of image compression. The purpose of this course is to introduce the digital image processing techniques and applications. Understanding of this course will be enhanced by examples and assignments using Matlab. It employed in image enhancement fields, biometric and pattern recognition. This course is depends on Linear Algebra and Programming Techniques.

MCE05 Advanced Artificial Intelligence Systems                                                                         3credits

This course introduces the concepts and algorithms that are developed in the fields of artificial intelligence. It will provide students and introduction to soft computing (SC), state space representation; blind and heuristic search, artificial neural networks, fuzzy sets theory, fuzzy logic, probabilistic reasoning, meta-heuristics algorithms, neuro-fuzzy technology, hybrid systems and applications of artificial intelligence systems (three to four real life applications). To achieve these course goals different teaching strategies will be applied such as direct, indirect and interactive and self-learning. The Pre-requisites of this course is Artificial Intelligence.

MCE06 Advanced Computer Networks Security                                                                        3credits

This course aims to provide student with in-depth knowledge of network security and cryptography. Topics covered include a review for principles of classic and current symmetric/asymmetric encryption algorithms, mode of operation, key management, network attacks, authentication protocols, transport-level security, wireless network security, e-mail security, and IP security. Principles of encryption, their properties and applications to security protocols are analyzed. Techniques to ensure information security assurance, networks protection against external attack and internal misuse are dealt with. Current security issues in the emerged networking technologies should be discussed. Thereafter, student should also be able to make technical choices on encryption-based systems and use them to secure transactions over open network, and evaluate the provisions for network security and set up secure-based services. It is assumed that student has a background in the basic calculus and probability, computer security and computer networking.

MCM05 Modeling and Simulating Communication Systems                                                       3credits

The course provides students with the advanced concepts of analytic and simulation techniques appropriate for the representation, analysis and performance evaluation of communications systems and networks. This course covers introduction to the simulation and modeling methodology; modeling and simulation of 4G-LTE System and Communication Channels; LTI systems and nonlinear systems and Transmitter and Receiver Subsystems. This course provides students with the advanced concepts of data communication in more way that is comprehensive. A one-semester course designed to meet the general chemistry requirement for engineering students. Topics include stoichiometry; thermodynamics; gases, liquids, and solids; equilibrium; acids and bases; bonding concepts; kinetics; reactions; and materials science. Examples and problems illustrate the application of chemistry to engineering sub-disciplines. The chemistry course is designed to provide the novice   Engineer with a fundamental understanding of current concepts of life chemistry.  The course is revised each year to update and improve its content.  Hopefully the progression of topics will develop the subject in a fashion useful to the student, especially if he/she feels insecure about chemical and matter  concepts.

The general aim of this course is to provide students with theoretical and practical background in Engineering Drawing. This Course focuses on principles, terminologies, tools of Engineering Drawing to enhance the positive ability of students in being more precise in Drawing and measurements. يعد هذا المقرر من المقررات المهمة؛ كونه متعلق بكلام الله تعالى ثم إنه من متطلبات الجامعة، وهو مقرر نظري وتطبيقي يقوم الطالب فيه بتلاوة وحفظ نصف جزء عم من سورة (الطارق-الناس)، ودراسة الآداب التي ينبغي أن يتحلى بها قارئ القرآن، وفهم وتطبيق هذه الأحكام عند قراءة القرآن الكريم، وتستخدم طريقتي الحوار والمناقشة في التدريس، ويتم تقييم الطالب من خلال تلاوته للقرآن أثناء اللقاءات التعليمية، والقيام بالتكليفات المصاحبة – الصفية واللا صفية – مع الامتحانين النصفي والنهائي.

Solutions of Differential Equations of order one; Separate, Homogeneous and inhomogeneous , Exact and inexact , linear and nonlinear , General Solutions of Homogeneous Differential Equations of order two by use characteristic equation , Partial Solution of Inhomogeneous Differential Equations of order two by operator differentiation. In addition, the course provides the students with ability to understand the characteristics of diode and its operation theory, diode models, diode applications, special–purpose diodes, bipolar junction transistors. The course includes four topics: introduction to electronics, Diode operation, Diode application, special purpose diodes, and operation of BJT. This course provides the students with basics concept and properties of ac electrical circuits and networks, also a strategy to have the techniques to analyze and design AC electrical circuits and networks. This course contains the fundamentals response of R, L, and C elements to a sinusoidal voltage or current, and frequency response of the basic elements, also average power and power factor, complex numbers analysis, Phasor analysis, series-parallel ac circuits, Methods of analysis and selection of AC Topics, power factor, resonance circuits, mutual inductance and transformer. The teaching strategies include: lecture, tutorial, practical application, simulations tools, and mini-projects. This subject is one of college requirement courses.

This course will provide students with fundamental concept of linear algebra and foundational knowledge for some engineering courses. This course discusses the basic concepts of : matrices; matrix operations, transpose, inverse ; determinants; solution of linear systems; eigenvalues and eigenvectors and its practical applications , basic concept of graph theory. Some methods will be used in the teaching of this course, such as: lectures, problem-solving, Brainstorming, micro- assignments and micro-report.

 

BEL008  Electronics (2) (2L, 2T, 2P)  4 credits

This course provides students with the concepts of common electronic amplifier circuits that are required in electronic circuit design. In addition, the course provides the students with ability to analyze the different types of BJT transistor amplifiers and JFET Basic circuits. The course includes four main topics: biasing methods of BJT amplifiers, DC and AC analysis of common-emitter, common-collector, common-base amplifiers and differential amplifiers. In addition, the course covers the DC biasing of JFET and MOSFET circuits and their basic applications. The main teaching strategies include lecture, tutorial, practical, dialogue and discussion, and project. The course pre-requisites are electrical circuits(1), electrical circuits(2) and electronics(1).

 

BEL003  Engineering Mathematics (2L, 2T)  3 credits

This course covers the transforms of Laplace and Fourier and their properties and inverses. Focusing on finding these transforms for the different types of functions, using these transforms in solving different systems (ordinary and partial differential equations) and some applications (electrical circuits and using MATLAB).The functions of complex variables and analytic and harmonic functions are also considered. Some methods will be used in the teaching of this course, such as: Lectures, tutorial, Problems and exercises, Group Discussion, further reading in directed topics (by self) and PowerPoint presentations.

 

BEL009  Fundamentals of Logic Design (2L, 2T, 2P)  4 credits

This course is considered as an introduction to the basics of the digital design and systems. Also, it provides students the ability to understand the internal operation of the digital circuits and their design. In addition, it usually employed in digital computers, control systems, digital communications, and many other applications. This course includes the number systems, logic gates, simplification methods, and design basic and simple digital circuits. This course depends on lectures, tutorials, practical part, weakly homework, and a practical project that includes the most of the course's subjects. Also, it depends on computer skills and mathematics as prerequisites.

 

BEL019  Engineering Electromagnetic (2L, 2T)  3 credits

This course provides students with fundamental electricity and magnetism concepts and enables them to use these concepts to develop, and design various engineering applications involving electromagnetic fields. To lay the foundations of electromagnetism and its practice in modern communications such as wireless, guided wave principles such as fiber optics and electronic electromagnetic structures. The course topics include vector analysis, Coulomb's law and electric field intensity, electric flux density, Gauss' law, and divergence, the steady magnetic field and time-varying fields and Maxwell's equations. The course pre-requisites are Engineering Physics (BEL004) and Physics (BENG03). The main teaching strategies include lecture, tutorial and problem solving.

 

BEL011  Fundamentals of Computer Programming (2L, 2P)  3 credits

This course provides students with a comprehensive study of the C program language. It introduce to program design and problem solving using the C program language. Classroom lectures stress the strengths of C, which provide programmers with the means of writing efficient, maintainable, and portable code. The lectures are supplemented with non-trivial lab exercises. Programming topics include flow charts, decision table, C fundamentals, decision and case control structure, loop control, arrays, bitwise operator and functions. Within this course the students take simulation program in computer laboratory to simulate the concept of C language like Borland C program or Microsoft visual studio. The course pre-requisite is Computer Skills (BUST09) and the course co-requisite is Fundamentals of Logic Design (BEL009). The main teaching strategies include lecture,  practical and homework.

Programming & Simulation (P&S) has become an important tool in all phases of the data acquisition process, and can be used within all life cycle,  including analysis, design & development, integration and test-evaluation,  This subject focuses on MATLAB Basics, Interacting with MATLAB, Variables, Mathematical operations, Algebra and Arithmetic, Matrixes operations, Nested loops, Functions for input & output, MATLAB Graphics, DSP tools and DIP tools, Communications tools, SIMULINK, GUIs. This course is a continuation to the graduation project-1, It is also executed through weekly meeting of project group with the supervisor, The student should introduce new theoretical analysis, or start to build project hardware (if any), or conduct new type of simulation such as ( digital or analogue computer simulation) …etc, The next stage is to test the project stuff and check its validity, then perform final measurements and obtain output results. He must establish a new conclusion about the project. The final copy of these should be completed, and reviewed by the supervisor, so to be ready for the final seminar with the project committee-exam. The supervisor will evaluate that copy and give primary mark of the second semester. This course is part of fulfilment of B.Sc. program. Pre-request is to pass 3rd year level.

A one-semester course designed to meet the general chemistry requirement for engineering students. Topics include stoichiometry; thermodynamics; gases, liquids, and solids; equilibrium; acids and bases; bonding concepts; kinetics; reactions; and materials science. Examples and problems illustrate the application of chemistry to engineering sub-disciplines. The chemistry course is designed to provide the novice   Engineer with a fundamental understanding of current concepts of life chemistry.  The course is revised each year to update and improve its content.  Hopefully the progression of topics will develop the subject in a fashion useful to the student, especially if he/she feels insecure about chemical and matter  concepts.

This course provides students with the concepts of conductors, insulators semiconductors materials and basics of electronic devices. In addition, the course provides the students with ability to understand the characteristics of diode and its operation theory, diode models, diode applications, special–purpose diodes, bipolar junction transistors. The course includes four topics: introduction to electronics, Diode operation, Diode application, special purpose diodes, and operation of BJT. The main teaching strategies include lecture, tutorial, practical, dialogue and discussion, and project. The course pre-requisites are electrical circuits (1).

 

BEL006  Electrical Circuits (2) (2L, 2T, 2P)  4 credits

This course provides the students with basics concept and properties of ac electrical circuits and networks, also a strategy to have the techniques to analyze and design AC electrical circuits and networks. This course contains the fundamentals response of R, L, and C elements to a sinusoidal voltage or current, and frequency response of the basic elements, also average power and power factor, complex numbers analysis, Phasor analysis, series-parallel ac circuits, Methods of analysis and selection of AC Topics, power factor, resonance circuits, mutual inductance and transformer. The teaching strategies include: lecture, tutorial, practical application, simulations tools, and mini-projects. This subject is one of college requirement courses.

 

BEL002  Linear Algebra (2L, 2T)  3credits

This course will provide students with fundamental concept of linear algebra and foundational knowledge for some engineering courses. This course discusses the basic concepts of : matrices; matrix operations, transpose, inverse ; determinants; solution of linear systems; eigenvalues and eigenvectors and its practical applications , basic concept of graph theory. Some methods will be used in the teaching of this course, such as: lectures, problem-solving, Brainstorming, micro- assignments and micro-report.

 

BEL008  Electronics (2) (2L, 2T, 2P)  4 credits

This course provides students with the concepts of common electronic amplifier circuits that are required in electronic circuit design. In addition, the course provides the students with ability to analyze the different types of BJT transistor amplifiers and JFET Basic circuits. The course includes four main topics: biasing methods of BJT amplifiers, DC and AC analysis of common-emitter, common-collector, common-base amplifiers and differential amplifiers. In addition, the course covers the DC biasing of JFET and MOSFET circuits and their basic applications. The main teaching strategies include lecture, tutorial, practical, dialogue and discussion, and project. The course pre-requisites are electrical circuits(1), electrical circuits(2) and electronics(1).

 

BEL003  Engineering Mathematics (2L, 2T)  3credits

This course covers the transforms of Laplace and Fourier and their properties and inverses. Focusing on finding these transforms for the different types of functions, using these transforms in solving different systems (ordinary and partial differential equations) and some applications (electrical circuits and using MATLAB).The functions of complex variables and analytic and harmonic functions are also considered. Some methods will be used in the teaching of this course, such as: Lectures, tutorial, Problems and exercises, Group Discussion, further reading in directed topics (by self) and PowerPoint presentations.

 

BEL009  Fundamentals of Logic Design (2L, 2T, 2P)  4credits

This course is considered as an introduction to the basics of the digital design and systems. Also, it provides students the ability to understand the internal operation of the digital circuits and their design. In addition, it usually employed in digital computers, control systems, digital communications, and many other applications. This course includes the number systems, logic gates, simplification methods, and design basic and simple digital circuits. This course depends on lectures, tutorials, practical part, weakly homework, and a practical project that includes the most of the course's subjects. Also, it depends on computer skills and mathematics as prerequisites.

 

BEL019  Engineering Electromagnetic (2L, 2T)  3credits

This course provides students with fundamental electricity and magnetism concepts and enables them to use these concepts to develop, and design various engineering applications involving electromagnetic fields. To lay the foundations of electromagnetism and its practice in modern communications such as wireless, guided wave principles such as fiber optics and electronic electromagnetic structures. The course topics include vector analysis, Coulomb's law and electric field intensity, electric flux density, Gauss' law, and divergence, the steady magnetic field and time-varying fields and Maxwell's equations. The course pre-requisites are Engineering Physics (BEL004) and Physics (BENG03). The main teaching strategies include lecture, tutorial and problem solving.

 

BEL011  Fundamentals of Computer Programming (2L, 2P)  3credits

This course provides students with a comprehensive study of the C program language. It introduce to program design and problem solving using the C program language. Classroom lectures stress the strengths of C, which provide programmers with the means of writing efficient, maintainable, and portable code. The lectures are supplemented with non-trivial lab exercises. Programming topics include flow charts, decision table, C fundamentals, decision and case control structure, loop control, arrays, bitwise operator and functions. Within this course the students take simulation program in computer laboratory to simulate the concept of C language like Borland C program or Microsoft visual studio. The course pre-requisite is Computer Skills (BUST09) and the course co-requisite is Fundamentals of Logic Design (BEL009). The main teaching strategies include lecture,  practical and homework.

Programming & Simulation (P&S) has become an important tool in all phases of the data acquisition process, and can be used within all life cycle,  including analysis, design & development, integration and test-evaluation,  This subject focuses on MATLAB Basics, Interacting with MATLAB, Variables, Mathematical operations, Algebra and Arithmetic, Matrixes operations, Nested loops, Functions for input & output, MATLAB Graphics, DSP tools and DIP tools, Communications tools, SIMULINK, GUIs. This course provides students with the concepts of some linear integrated circuits (ICs), such as an operational amplifier and its fundamental important circuits to give students a foundation in operational amplifier and application circuits. In addition, the course provides the students with the ability to analyze the effect of frequency on CE amplifier and operational amplifier. The course includes the basic operational amplifier and its characteristics, operational amplifier modes and several parameters, operational amplifier with negative feedback and effects on operational amplifier parameters, describe and analyze some operational amplifier application circuits, the frequency responses for operational amplifier and CE amplifiers. BCM001 Wave Propagation & Antennas (2L, 2T)  3credits

The course explores further propagation and polarization of waves in conducting media and insulators. It explores and apparent different shapes of hollow waves guided as rectangular and circular wave guides. This course also explores different topics like antennas and properties of the ionosphere and troposphere. In addition, it is usually employed in RADAR, wireless communication, navigation and many other applications.

This course includes the basic propagation modes and antenna parameters; ground wave propagation; sky wave propagation; space (terrestrial) wave propagation; statistical models and diversity principles; propagation models in mobile radio systems; antenna engineering in LF, MF, HF, VHF and UHF systems; reflector antennas, linear and planar antenna arrays.

BCM002 Communication Electronics (2L, 2P)  3credits

The course provides the communication-engineering students with the concepts of theory of operation of basic analog RF communication circuits, which considered the base of wireless communication either in receivers or in transmitters. In addition, the course enable the students to understand the cooperation between tuned circuits, oscillators, basic passive filters, PLL& synthesizers, RF power amplifiers, AM&FM modulators. In addition, the course provides the students with ability to analyze the different types oscillators, AM&FM and RF power circuits. The course includes six main topics: tuned circuits, passive filters, oscillators, phased locked loop, radio frequency power amplifiers, and AM&FM modulating circuits.

 

BEL013 Fundamentals of Control Engineering (2L, 2T)  3credits

This course Contains an introduction to control systems and its important in daily life. It discuss the block diagram of physical systems, Laplace and inverse Laplace transforms, and its use in control systems analysis, mathematical modeling and transfer function of input output control systems, study of system behavior and systems response due to different input signals, systems  stability analysis using Routh criterion, root-locus analysis, The teaching strategy is achieved through lectures and tutorial ,this subject is mandatory.    

 

BCM008 Microwave Engineering (2L, 2T)  3credits

This course will provide all students with the fundamental concepts associated with RF/microwave circuits and components. Important topics include: radio-frequency (RF) / microwave transmission lines, RF matching networks, microwave resonators, microwave coupler and power dividers, microwave filters, and simulation of RF / microwave circuits.

Successful completion of this course will allow students study to carry out research in the area of RF and microwave circuit design. This course provides the basic concepts of data communication and computer networks. It provides students the ability to understand two famous networks models TCP/IP and ISO OSI and their layers’ functions. The course studies in details the main network layer functions and protocols such as routing, logical addressing, and internetworking. The course applies the concepts of data communication into practical networks such as Ethernet, Wi-Fi and ATM networks. This course depends on experiments in communication laboratory and simulation program that includes the most of the course's subjects

 

BEL010 Microprocessors and Assembly Language (2L, 2P)  3credits

This course covers many topics in Intel microprocessor (8086/8088) such as microprocessor hardware architecture, addressing modes, and instructions' set. It concerns on programming microprocessors using assembly language. The purpose of this course is to understand the microprocessor’s main components, which will guide to program it correctly. Understanding of this course will be enhanced by examples and practicing in microprocessor lab. The prerequisite of this course are fundamentals of logic design and Fundamentals of Computer Programming.

BCM004 Digital Communication (3L, 2P)  4credits

This course provides student with basics and advancedtechniques for digital communication, which are the basic elements of modern communication systems. It presents the basic elements to implement any communication system and different digital technique as source coding, channel coding, digital modulation, noise and wireless channel. The course requires communication theory (BCM003), data communication & networks (BCM005) and digital signal processing (BEL012) as a pre-requisite. Within this course, the student take experiments in communication laboratory and simulation program to simulate the concept of digital communication like MATLAB program.

This course provides the main concepts of mobile and cellular communication components and systems. It provides students the ability to understand the cellular systems architecture and evolution. The graduation project provides the student a practical application of all engineering subjects. It has been executed through weekly meeting of project group with supervisor. This course contains, proposal for project plane, internet literature survey, data acquisition, theoretical analysis of project theories, experimental analysis of project using available-data, writing up a summary report about the previous stages, the supervisor will evaluate the report and give primary mark of the first semester.This course is part of fulfillment of B.Sc. requirements. Pre-request is to pass 3rd year level.

The course is designed to cover the main concepts of wireless networks including types architecture, applications, requirements, protocols and standards. BCML04 Communication Systems Modeling And Simulation (Elective) (2L, 2P)  3credits

The purpose of this course is to gain in-depth understanding of the theories, techniques and tools to model, analyze and simulate today’s communications systems and networks. Consideration is given to both the Physical Layer (link-level) and the Network Layer (network-level) and the module looks at the theory of modeling and practical applications using standard simulation packages. This module equips the students to understand and apply analytic and simulation techniques appropriate for the representation, analysis and performance evaluation of communications systems and networks. This course includes the basics of simulation and modeling methodology; modeling and simulation of communications channels; LTI systems and nonlinear systems; OFDM wireless networks and network modeling and queuing theory.This course depends on lectures, tutorials; practical part used MATLAB simulation tools as an example to develop the analytical and simulation skills for performance evaluation.

 

BEL016 Graduation Project (2) (3L)  3credits

This course is a continuation to the graduation project (1), it has been executed through weekly meeting of project group with supervisor, the student must introduce new theoretical analysis, or start to build project hardware (if any), or conduct new type of simulation such as ( digital or analogue computer simulation) …etc. The next stage is to test the project stuff and check its validity, then perform final measurements and obtain output results. The student must establish a new conclusion about the project. The final copy of the thesis must be completed, and reviewed by the supervisor, so to be ready for the final seminar with the project committee-exam. The supervisor will evaluate that copy and give primary mark of the second semester. This course is part of fulfilment of B.Sc. program. Pre-request is to pass 3rd year level.

A one-semester course designed to meet the general chemistry requirement for engineering students. Topics include stoichiometry; thermodynamics; gases, liquids, and solids; equilibrium; acids and bases; bonding concepts; kinetics; reactions; and materials science. Examples and problems illustrate the application of chemistry to engineering sub-disciplines. The chemistry course is designed to provide the novice   Engineer with a fundamental understanding of current concepts of life chemistry.  The course is revised each year to update and improve its content.  Hopefully the progression of topics will develop the subject in a fashion useful to the student, especially if he/she feels insecure about chemical and matter  concepts.

The general aim of this course is to provide students with theoretical and practical background in Engineering Drawing. This Course focuses on principles, terminologies, tools of Engineering Drawing to enhance the positive ability of students in being more precise in Drawing and measurements. يعد مقرر الثقافة الإسلامية من أهم المقررات الدراسية وذلك للدور الذي يساهم فيه هذا المقرر في تكوين الشخصية المسلمة القادرة على قراءة ماضيها وفهم واقعها والإسهام الإيجابي في بناء المستقبل بناءً يوافق شرع الله ويلبي احتياجات العصر من غير إفراط ولا تفريط (بوسطية). ويتم أخذ هذا المقرر بطريقة الحوار والمناقشة، كما يكلف فيه الطلبة بالبحوث التي تخدم أهداف المقرر. ويتم تقييم الطلبة عن طريق المشاركة الصفية واللاصفية والأعمال التي يكلف بها الطلبة والاختبارات النصفية والنهائية.

يهدف مهارات الاتصال إلى إلمام الطالب بالنظريات والمفاهيم الأساسية في مجال الاتصال الإنساني،وتنمية المهارات الأساسية في مجال التواصل الجيد مع الذات ومع الآخرين، وتعزيزممارستها في حياته اليومية والعملية باستخدام أساليب جدية تعتمدعلى التدريب والتقويم المتنوع والفعال، بما يسهم في إنجاح حياته الخاصة والعملية على حد سواء.

 

BUST08 التفكير الناقد (1L)  1 credit

التفكير الناقد مادة هدفها الأساسي بناء وتنمية مهارة الطلاب الذهنية في مجال التعامل مع الآراء والأفكار المقروءة أو المسموعة أو المرئية لإبداء الرأي المؤيد أو المعارض استنادا إلى المهارات الذهنية المنظمة، والمهارات المعرفية والخبرات والتجارب. يتضمن العديد من الموضوعات الرئيسة كمفهوم التفكير الناقد وفائدته العملية والتعليمية و في الفصل الدراسي ، ومعاييره ، ومعوقاته ومقوماته الأساسية والمساعدة ، وكيفية بناء حجج مقنعة بالاستناد إلى الاستدلال الناقد ،مع بيان صور المغالطات والخدع البلاغية ، ثم توجت المادة بخاتمة تضمنت تطبيق مهارات التفكير على بعض الظواهر والمجالات الحيوية في الحياة ، والطريقة المثلى لتدريسها تكاد تنحصر في الجانب النظري من خلال المحاضرات والمداخلات والمناقشات المستفيضة ، مع تعزيز ذلك بقدر كبير من الأساليب التدريبية ، كلعب بعض الأدوار، وعرض مقاطع فيديو بالصوت والصورة، وإجراء بعض المناظرات،خصص لتدريسها والتدريب على بعض مفاهيمها 14 ساعة في الفصل الدراسي الواحد، وتدرس بنظام الساعة (زمن المحاضرة ساعة واحدة).

يهتم المقرر بتنمية المهارات اللغوية الأساسية للطالب كونه من متطلبات الجامعة ويتناول جملة من النشاطات الاتصالية والدروس اللغوية والإملائية والتركيبية ويحتوي على معارف ونصوص وتدريبات لغوية، ويتألف من كتابين:

الأول يركز على مهارتي الاستماع والتحدث، والثاني يركز على مهارتي القراءة والكتابة، مع احتواء كل من الكتابين على أساسيات التركيب النحوي وبعض القواعد الإملائية ويعتمد المقرر أسلوب التدريبات والتطبيقات العملية لكل طالب، بالإضافة إلى النصوص التطبيقية في CD المرفق بالكتاب مع الامتحان النصفي والنهائي.

 

BUST01 مهارات تلاوة القرآن الكريم وتجويده (2P)  1 credit

يعد هذا المقرر من المقررات المهمة؛ كونه متعلق بكلام الله تعالى ثم إنه من متطلبات الجامعة، وهو مقرر نظري وتطبيقي يقوم الطالب فيه بتلاوة وحفظ نصف جزء عم من سورة (الطارق-الناس)، ودراسة الآداب التي ينبغي أن يتحلى بها قارئ القرآن، وفهم وتطبيق هذه الأحكام عند قراءة القرآن الكريم، وتستخدم طريقتي الحوار والمناقشة في التدريس، ويتم تقييم الطالب من خلال تلاوته للقرآن أثناء اللقاءات التعليمية، والقيام بالتكليفات المصاحبة – الصفية واللا صفية – مع الامتحانين النصفي والنهائي.

This course will provide students with fundamental concept of Differential Equations and foundational knowledge for engineering mathematics course. The course will focus on the following: Basic concepts of Differential Equations: Definition, types, order, power. Solutions of Differential Equations of order one; Separate, Homogeneous and inhomogeneous , Exact and inexact , linear and nonlinear , General Solutions of Homogeneous Differential Equations of order two by use characteristic equation , Partial Solution of Inhomogeneous Differential Equations of order two by operator differentiation. Some methods will be used in the teaching of this course, such as: lectures, problem-solving, Brainstorming, micro- assignments and micro-report.

The general importance of this course is to provide students with the major concepts of Electrostatics and Magneto statics phenomena. It demonstrates various ways of calculating electric field, magnetic fields, electric and magnetic forces, electric potential, electric flux, magnetic flux. The course carried out using the lectures and Problems solving, assignments, lab experiments, Simulation Experiments and self learningused to teach this course. This course provides students with the concepts of conductors, insulators semiconductors materials and basics of electronic devices. In addition, the course provides the students with ability to understand the characteristics of diode and its operation theory, diode models, diode applications, special–purpose diodes, bipolar junction transistors. The course includes four topics: introduction to electronics, Diode operation, Diode application, special purpose diodes, and operation of BJT. BEL006  Electrical Circuits (2) (2L, 2T, 2P)  4 credits

This course provides the students with basics concept and properties of ac electrical circuits and networks, also a strategy to have the techniques to analyze and design AC electrical circuits and networks. This course contains the fundamentals response of R, L, and C elements to a sinusoidal voltage or current, and frequency response of the basic elements, also average power and power factor, complex numbers analysis, Phasor analysis, series-parallel ac circuits, Methods of analysis and selection of AC Topics, power factor, resonance circuits, mutual inductance and transformer. The teaching strategies include: lecture, tutorial, practical application, simulations tools, and mini-projects. This subject is one of college requirement courses.

 

BEL002  Linear Algebra (2L, 2T)  3 credits

This course will provide students with fundamental concept of linear algebra and foundational knowledge for some engineering courses. This course discusses the basic concepts of : matrices; matrix operations, transpose, inverse ; determinants; solution of linear systems; eigenvalues and eigenvectors and its practical applications , basic concept of graph theory. Some methods will be used in the teaching of this course, such as: lectures, problem-solving, Brainstorming, micro- assignments and micro-report.

 

BEL008  Electronics (2) (2L, 2T, 2P)  4 credits

This course provides students with the concepts of common electronic amplifier circuits that are required in electronic circuit design. In addition, the course provides the students with ability to analyze the different types of BJT transistor amplifiers and JFET Basic circuits. The course includes four main topics: biasing methods of BJT amplifiers, DC and AC analysis of common-emitter, common-collector, common-base amplifiers and differential amplifiers. In addition, the course covers the DC biasing of JFET and MOSFET circuits and their basic applications. The main teaching strategies include lecture, tutorial, practical, dialogue and discussion, and project. The course pre-requisites are electrical circuits(1), electrical circuits(2) and electronics(1).

 

BEL003  Engineering Mathematics (2L, 2T)  3 credits

This course covers the transforms of Laplace and Fourier and their properties and inverses. Focusing on finding these transforms for the different types of functions, using these transforms in solving different systems (ordinary and partial differential equations) and some applications (electrical circuits and using MATLAB).The functions of complex variables and analytic and harmonic functions are also considered. Some methods will be used in the teaching of this course, such as: Lectures, tutorial, Problems and exercises, Group Discussion, further reading in directed topics (by self) and PowerPoint presentations.

 

BEL009  Fundamentals of Logic Design (2L, 2T, 2P)  4 credits

This course is considered as an introduction to the basics of the digital design and systems. Also, it provides students the ability to understand the internal operation of the digital circuits and their design. In addition, it usually employed in digital computers, control systems, digital communications, and many other applications. This course includes the number systems, logic gates, simplification methods, and design basic and simple digital circuits. This course depends on lectures, tutorials, practical part, weakly homework, and a practical project that includes the most of the course's subjects. Also, it depends on computer skills and mathematics as prerequisites.

 

BEL019  Engineering Electromagnetic (2L, 2T)  3 credits

This course provides students with fundamental electricity and magnetism concepts and enables them to use these concepts to develop, and design various engineering applications involving electromagnetic fields. To lay the foundations of electromagnetism and its practice in modern communications such as wireless, guided wave principles such as fiber optics and electronic electromagnetic structures. The course topics include vector analysis, Coulomb's law and electric field intensity, electric flux density, Gauss' law, and divergence, the steady magnetic field and time-varying fields and Maxwell's equations. The course pre-requisites are Engineering Physics (BEL004) and Physics (BENG03). The main teaching strategies include lecture, tutorial and problem solving.

 

BEL011  Fundamentals of Computer Programming (2L, 2P)  3 credits

This course provides students with a comprehensive study of the C program language. It introduce to program design and problem solving using the C program language. Classroom lectures stress the strengths of C, which provide programmers with the means of writing efficient, maintainable, and portable code. The lectures are supplemented with non-trivial lab exercises. Programming topics include flow charts, decision table, C fundamentals, decision and case control structure, loop control, arrays, bitwise operator and functions. Within this course the students take simulation program in computer laboratory to simulate the concept of C language like Borland C program or Microsoft visual studio. The course pre-requisite is Computer Skills (BUST09) and the course co-requisite is Fundamentals of Logic Design (BEL009). The main teaching strategies include lecture,  practical and homework.

Programming is a method of representation system's routine by mean of computer instructions, and Simulation is the process of designing a model for a system, and conducting experiments to understand its behavior, or evaluate various tests-results for the operation of the system. Programming & Simulation (P&S) has become an important tool in all phases of the data acquisition process, and can be used within all life cycle,  including analysis, design & development, integration and test-evaluation,  This subject focuses on MATLAB Basics, Interacting with MATLAB, Variables, Mathematical operations, Algebra and Arithmetic, Matrixes operations, Nested loops, Functions for input & output, MATLAB Graphics, DSP tools and DIP tools, Communications tools, SIMULINK, GUIs. The course strategy is lectures and practical , it is also part of program requirements.

This course provides students with the concepts of some linear integrated circuits (ICs), such as an operational amplifier and its fundamental important circuits to give students a foundation in operational amplifier and application circuits. In addition, the course provides the students with the ability to analyze the effect of frequency on CE amplifier and operational amplifier. The course includes the basic operational amplifier and its characteristics, operational amplifier modes and several parameters, operational amplifier with negative feedback and effects on operational amplifier parameters, describe and analyze some operational amplifier application circuits, the frequency responses for operational amplifier and CE amplifiers. This course is very important to computer and network engineering students in order to take a look at the traditional and most recent practices of different software engineering approaches including the requirements analysis, design, development, verification, and maintenance. A look at some related issues such as SWE projects management and critical systems. An examination of object-oriented software construction focused on the Unified Modeling Language. The course will start with a brief historical perspective of the evolution of operating systems over the last fifty years, and then cover the major components and structure of most operating systems. This discussion will cover the tradeoffs that can be made between performance and functionality during the design and implementation of an operating system. In addition to OS structure and OS events particular emphasis will be given to these major OS subsystems: process, thread, scheduling, concurrency, deadlock, real and virtual memory management. This course depends on lectures, examples, and weakly assignments. Also, it depends on Fundamentals of Computer Programming as prerequisite course.

 

BEL013 Fundamentals of Control Engineering (2L, 2T)  3 credits

This course Contains an introduction to control systems and its important in daily life. It discuss the block diagram of physical systems, Laplace and inverse Laplace transforms, and its use in control systems analysis, mathematical modeling and transfer function of input output control systems, study of system behavior and systems response due to different input signals, systems  stability analysis using Routh criterion, root-locus analysis, The teaching strategy is achieved through lectures and tutorial ,this subject is mandatory.

This course provides the student with the ability to solve interesting real-world problems through programming language (Java). It concentrates on the principles of good software engineering and stresses program clarity. Also, it emphasizes achieving program clarity through the most fundamental capabilities of object-oriented programming such as Inheritance and Polymorphism. Understanding of this course will be enhanced by examples and practicing in lab. The prerequisite of this course is Fundamentals of Computer Programming.

This course provides students the ability to understand the various multiplexing, error control, flow control and media access control concepts and techniques. It identifies the two famous networks models TCP/IP and ISO OSI and their layers’ functions. The course applies the concepts of data communication into practical networks such as Ethernet, Wi-Fi and cellular networks. BEL010 Microprocessors and Assembly Language (2L, 2P)  3 credits

This course covers many topics in Intel microprocessor (8086/8088) such as microprocessor hardware architecture, addressing modes, and instructions' set. It concerns on programming microprocessors using assembly language. The purpose of this course is to understand the microprocessor’s main components, which will guide to program it correctly. Understanding of this course will be enhanced by examples and practicing in microprocessor lab. The prerequisite of this course are fundamentals of logic design and Fundamentals of Computer Programming.

This course is an introductory course in computer networks covers the concepts and fundamentals of computer local area networks, LAN switching concepts, logical addressing subnetting and routing, LAN analysis and design and practical examples. This course covers theoretical and practical topics of Microcontrollers such as Microprocessor registers, memory, input/output ports, timers and interrupts. This course demonstrates ATMEL 8051 programming in Assembly and C languages. The purpose of this course is to design a simple control system that serves the daily life’s necessities. Understanding of this course will be enhanced by practicing in Microcontroller lab. The prerequisite of this course is Microprocessors and Assembly Language.

 

BCC012 Wireless Networks (2L, 2P)  3 credits

This course is essential for student to join the modern labor market. It equips student with the main basics of wireless techniques and enables him/her to analyze, design, and build an enterprise network that include different aspects of wireless techniques. The course is designed to cover the main concepts of wireless networks including types architecture, applications, requirements, protocols and standards. It emphasizes on main characteristics and structure of wireless network techniques. The course also covers the design issues of wireless network design and planning such as frequency, transmission rate, distance, power, and security. The course also provides an introductory for the infrastructure-less networks such as MANET, VANET, WSN, and Mesh network and ubiquitous computing. According to the program course plan, Data Communications(2) is a prerequisite to this course. The course involves lectures, Lab, and group-based project that enables student to use and apply the skills acquired in the implementation of a wireless networks using the most common network simulators such as NS2 and OPNET.

This course covers wide topics in computer networks and WAN technologies and provides the students the ability to analyze an existing WAN and design WAN for specific application . The course includes MAN, WAN, large internetworks, the internet, fundamentals of WANs, switching, WAN technologies, trends in WAN design , remote connection design, LAN/WAN integration, WAN analysis, WAN design and virtual private networks (PVN). The main teaching strategies include lecture, homework, problem solving. The course pre-requisites are computer networks(1).

 

BCC004 Computer Design and Architecture (1) (2L) 2 credits

This course is considered as an introduction to the computer organization and architecture. It introduces the computer performance and the interface between hardware and the lowest level software. This course provides students with the ability to design the main functional units of a processor, the interconnection between these units and the controller of the information flow in a processor such as MIPS processor. Also, it develops students’ abilities to recognize the advanced topics in computer architecture and technology trends in this field. This course depends on lectures, examples, and weakly homework. Also, it depends on Fundamentals of Logic Design and Microprocessors and Assembly Language as prerequisite courses.

 

BEL015 Graduation Project (1) (3L) 3 credits

The graduation project provides the student a practical application of all engineering subjects. This course contains, proposal for project plane, internet literature survey, data acquisition, theoretical analysis of project theories, experimental analysis of project using available-data, writing up a summary report about the previous stages, the supervisor will evaluate the report and give primary mark of the first semester. This course is part of fulfilment of B.Sc. requirements. Pre-request is to pass 3rd year level.

 

BCC011 Routing and Switching (2L, 1P)  2 credits

This course is a study of Routing and Switching fundamentals, and how the Internet is integrated into the computing environment to enable organizations to share resources, collaborate, and meet organizational goals. The data communication (2) course is required as a pre-request, Networking Technologies, are expanded upon to incorporate the linking of these simple networks to each other and to the Internet, to create an internetwork. Routing and Switching devices such as switches and routers will be examined in great detail. Students will focus on techniques to analyze, plan, and manage an enterprise network. In support of these techniques, lab activities will include sub-netting, packet-sniffing, and switch and router configuration.

This focuses on basic and advanced concepts of computer architecture such as caches, buses and multiprocessor. It introduces and covers a hardware description language such as VHDL. This course provides students with the ability to implement the MIPS processor with its memory using VHDL and FPGA. In addition, it enhances students’ abilities to recognize the types and main components of multiprocessor system. Understanding of this course will be enhanced by examples and practicing in Lab.The prerequisite of this course is Computer Design and Architecture (1).

This course presents enterprise network planning, design. An emphasis will be placed on current technologies for optimum network design. It equips student to gain an intermediate level understanding of the design, and analysis of enterprise Computer Networks. The proficiency gained will extend to the installation and use of common network hardware and software using network simulators. Analysis and design of enterprise networks will also be covered by the hands-on analysis and design of network operating systems and other networking tools. This course provides students with the ability to design a chip multiprocessor with shared and distributed memory. As networking systems have become more complex and expensive, hands-on experiments based on networking simulation have become essential for teaching the key computer networking topics to students and professionals. The simulation approach is highly useful because it provides a virtual environment for a variety of desirable features such as modeling a network based on specified criteria and analyzing its performance under different scenarios. Modeling a given problem in the networks and simulating it could lead to better results through discussing the model and enhancing it before the actual model is built. The purpose of this course is to introduce fundamental principles and concepts in systems modeling and simulation, and to focus essentially to modeling and simulation a variety of networking designs and protocols. Topics to be covered in this course include basics of discrete-event system simulation, mathematical and statistical models, simulation design, experiment design, and modeling of simulation data. The course introduces simulation examples, such as queuing systems, Ethernet, Token Ring, Switched LANs, Network planning and design, ATM, Routing Information Protocol, Open Shortest Path First, Border Gateway Protocol, Transmission Control Protocol, Resource Reservation Protocol, Firewalls and VPN, Wireless Local Area Network, Mobile Wireless Network. The prerequisites of this course are Computer Networks (1), Computer Networks (2), and Wireless Networks.

 

BEL016 Graduation Project (2) (3L) 3 credits

This course is a continuation to the graduation project (1), the student must introduce new theoretical analysis, or start to build project hardware (if any), or conduct new type of simulation such as ( digital or analogue computer simulation) …etc. The next stage is to test the project stuff and check its validity, then perform final measurements and obtain output results. The student must establish a new conclusion about the project. The final copy of the thesis must be completed, and reviewed by the supervisor, so to be ready for the final seminar with the project committee-exam. The supervisor will evaluate that copy and give primary mark of the second semester. This course is part of fulfilment of B.Sc. program. Pre-request is to pass 3rd year level.
